On Friday 24th March 2006 an Austrian Cuisine Evening was held at the Parish House. Tyrolean music accompanied a spread of Austrian culinary delights, setting the scene for a perfect way to see off Winter and welcome in Spring. Andy van Steenis was our chef extraordinaire, Hans Bloemen provided indispensable behind-the-scenes support, and their lovely ladies – Valerie and Janete – welcomed, charmed and waited on the guests. Our warmest thanks to them for their hard work and generosity, and to everyone who supported this enjoyable fundraising event, which raised €1114.75 for the Building Fund.
