A series of events in Autumn 2009
In August 2009 an enthusiastic group of volunteers held a Garage Sale in the church, having first scoured the building for 'stuff' we no longer needed. It was a great success and raised €2,500 for Build With Us.

In September we had a special procession to inaugurate Peace Week and were visited the same day by the youth choir from Wervershoof.

At a similar time the electrics in the church Tower were brought screaming into the 21st century!

November saw the Food Fair with the Japanese stall that began as a small table last year, taking on its own space. Ambassador Shibuya also contributed sushi and his time for serving and promoting Japanese food and culture.

In October there was a special Mass with the Hungarian parish at Marlot church. Fr Sjaak was invited to concelebrate.
